On the 30th November the mescalito-neo-rockabilly-trio Eyeballin’ Torpedoes will release their 7" vinyl Grace n’ Grit on the legendary Swedish punk label Zorch Productions. Four brand new tracks of lo'down footstomping, hotdang hillbilly trash and Ennio Morricone spaghetti-western music straight from a backwood, where lovesick casanovas, restless drifters and the last of the moonshiners roam.
Eyeballin’ Torpedoes hails from Stockholm, Sweden and been around since 2004. They are fronted by the vocalist and guitarist Bob Lind, behind and the around the upright bass is Martin Lind (well yes they are brothers but then again it wouldn’t be country if it wasn’t family) and on drums Erik Hallingström.
They have previously released the full-length CD Los Pobres Diablos in 2009 the EP Boneshaker 2010 and the EP In stereo where available in 2004. They have also participated on a number of compilations, most notably the Hellacopters tribute Dancing on your graves.
Grace n’ Grit was recorded at Studio S:t Eriksplan 1 in Stockholm and mastered by Brian Lacey, Magic Garden Mastering in Ohio (Black Keys, Arizona etc.). Also participating on the record is Christer Åberg (Staffan Hellstrand, Cajun Hurricane etc.) on fiddle and banjo and Andre Hakwinsson (Lil’ Linn & the Lookout Boys, Sleazy Rustic Boys etc.) on triple neck lap steel.
The record will be properly celebrated with a release party in Stockholm, a couple of more shows in Sweden and a European tour. Come spring time the band will return to Europe for more festivals and shows
