It is ALWAYS a treat to watch CUTTHROAT SHAMROCK play and in our Favorite Venue, The Valarium...what could be better? I'll tell you what could be better. Throw in some Green Beer, "Rowdies" and set it on St Patrick's Day....that makes it better ! We have followed these guys since our inception and have only learned to love them more as the years go by.
I personally owe one of them for watching my back on an occasion ! They are excellent musicians and they have the most RAWKUS energy one could ever imagine to be flowing out of acoustically oriented instruments.
It was CUTTHROAT SHAMROCK that first demonstrated, to me, the ability to inspire a "Mosh Pit" without the use of Heavy Electrics. Don't get me wrong....I LOVE HEAVY ELECTRICS, but to see the "energy" be so intense as to cause the same reaction we witness in a Death Metal show, and without a single "Axe" in play, still mazes me. The key with these guys, aside from super talent, is their ability to connect with the Fans and KEEP a solid following.
